Wear them to work and my feet love me for it. Keep in mind upper is fabric so not ridged. Which is what I like about it as well. It was difficult at first wearing heels in public but it became second nature to me in a very short matter of time. Now it is something I do everyday without any thought at all. I do not try to hide my shoes, I'm very proud of them and do not care who sees them. I openly go into shoe stores and try on heels in front of everybody who's there. I'm fortunate in that I have small feet. I do get noticed and the sound is also a dead giveaway. When women hear me walking by they usually take a good look down at mt feet.
I've received some very nice compliments on my shoes and clothing. I've yet to receive any negative comments. I wear heels at home all the time and would love to wear them were ever i am but being an architect it doesn't open up the shirt and tie office to wearing heels easily and would love to have the confidence just to wear them in public.
Funny thing is all the girls that work in shoe shops seem to love guys in heels but its just not publicly accepted that ure a straight guy how just enjoys heels and the premise that, heels u either get them or u don't stands very true.

I have worn mostly women's shoes for many years, having only a few "men's" pairs in my wardrobe for occasions where they are strictly called for. In recent times I have gotten more secure in wearing things like ballet flats with jeans, although generally with darker or matching color hose so that they don't stand out blatantly.
When in NYC I frequently wear ballet flats along with ladies' jeans and tops in public, including at restaurants often with a bra underneath. Last winter I began to wear heeled boots with jeans and now I can't get enough of it!

I've been wearing heels off and on since I was a teen, and never grew out of it. These days, I like to co-ordinate my heels with the rest of my outfit, and guys - you have no idea how sharp a nice pair of heels complements your wardrobe until you actually go out and DO it.
You'd be surprised at how many good compliments you get from ladies if you do about it with style. These days I wear anything from " and varied styles, and never had a bad experience yet!

I have worn woman's shoes for nearly 40 years. High heels hold no interest for me. My interest is flats. When you wear socks that are the same color as the shoes, the shoes are much less noticeable. Last year I plunged in and started to wear boots to work. I refuse to say they're women's boots but they still are: They are a dream come true for me but for most people wrong for 3 reason's for a guy to wear: I'm only interested in the most masculine heel style possible in women's boots but I refuse to give up on the pointy toes or hide the heels completely under long pants.

Most people don't notice and no one has ever made a negative comment. I have had a few good comments and one guy asked a lot of questions. I think he wanted to wear them too. I still have apprehension and wish society would get over their stereotypes and prejudices.
I am happily married to a heel loving gal that encourages me. Heels are an object of affection and I don't think a chromosome dictates who will love them and who won't. Just because society has been programmed that they are for women only doesn't make it true. Men have worn heels throughout history. They do not indicate sexual preference.
Men wearing high heels is no phenomenon. Secretly, I would say the number of men in heels would be close to the number of women who wear heels, regularly. Getting these men to openly declare their secret desire to add high heels to their active wardrobe, is dependent on the social acceptance.
Men are no different than women in a desire to wear heels. They don't want to force their will on everybody, but they would like to be treated with the respect any human being is entitled to and should be afforded.
